What this notice covers.
This notice applies to the redlineo website and to the hosted redlineo demo.
What we collect, and why
Four categories, each with a legal basis.

Demo account details
Name, email, organisation
What you give us when we issue demo credentials. Used to create your account, to contact you about the demo, and to follow up about redlineo. Legal basis: legitimate interests in responding to a product enquiry, and performance of pre-contractual steps at your request.

Documents you upload
The files you compare, and the output
Used only to run the comparison you requested and return the result. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual steps at your request.

Technical logs
IP address, browser, timestamps, pages
Used to keep the service running and secure, and to diagnose faults. Legal basis: legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.

Contact form and email
Anything you send us
Used to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests in responding to enquiries.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not build profiles.
The demo's side-by-side review page keeps your place in a review — which changes you have already looked at — in your browser's own local storage, keyed to that review. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Recipients
Who we share it with.
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf under written agreements:
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany — hosting for the website and the demo
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft 365) — email correspondence
We may disclose data where required by law.
Location
Where your data is held.
The website and the demo — including any document you upload — are hosted in the European Union, in Hetzner’s German data centres.
Email correspondence is handled in Microsoft 365. Microsoft may process a limited amount of data outside the EEA, principally for support; where it does, it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Access, correction, erasure, portability.
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object at any time.
To exercise any of these, email info@pleosoft.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr — or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Security
How the demo is protected.
The demo runs over HTTPS. Uploaded documents are stored in working storage for the duration of the comparison and deleted on the schedule above. Access to systems is limited to Pleo Soft personnel who need it.

We may update this notice. The current version is always at redlineo.com/privacy, with the date of last update at the top.
